Thanks for looking at the bug, after 13 months! ;-) I just tested it in casper:
* laptop-mode works fine
* xresprobe ati still returns:
id:
res:
freq:
disptype: lcd/lvds
* xserver-xorg.postinst does not write any resolution to the xorg.conf,
which is fine, because the ati driver picks the right
I have tested this with gdebi 0.3.1ubuntu1 (as present in Gutsy as of
2007/09/27) and I can confirm that this is fixed.
The packages I submitted for bug #146398 can also be used to test for this.

''5.5'':66A ''bug'':6A,12A ''e.g'':14
This is rather strange - but it seems to have fixed itself somehow.
Now I am able to turn the WLAN on or off using the front-button again, although
the key-press is still not recognised properly - but it works nevertheless.
The only thing I did was boot into Windows a few days ago, properly conne
This occurs in Gutsy as well which seems to be 0.5.3 - oddly emacs with
open correctly and "locked" to the panel even though I do not set any
placement for it in xdefaults (not sure if those are set elsewhere
though)

Well, then I'd like to welcome You in the Virtual Million Budget NTFS-3G

the testing but we do can offer the **REAL** Lead Quality Assurance
