Hello,
Except for ubufox I don't have any extensions. My firefox version is
2.0.0.12. This very launchpad page can be used as an example. Try to
type your comment while downloading a file - as soon as the download
finishes, your keystrokes will no longer produce any text in the
textbox.

Thank you for the quick response.
It might have to do with JAVA 6 update that i did [web update].
The only other thing i can think of would be the BASTILLE hardening package
that i installed.
I'm not exactly sure what happened.
I've only switched to the Linux OS 6 weeks ago.

Standard was always the intended default upstream. I have found a bug
in the upstream foomatic-db now which caused some drivers to default to
Accurate. This I have fixed now upstream and it will go into Hardy
with the updated foomatic-db package.
