Eh, scratch my last comment, its update-alternatives that should be
installing the plugin but doesnt seem to want to install to xulrunner-
addons, for some reason.
Here's a workaround that should work for all firefox 3 versions:
sudo ln -s /var/lib/flashplugin-nonfree/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so
This will be fixed when we update to latest upstream code.

Yes that works great with the old BIOS setting! I think this option
should be mentioned somewhere prominent for those of us with less than

Network-manager-gnome in hardy has program called nm-editor, which has
strings translated correctly in the sources, but the program does not
load these strings.
After stracing the nm-editor program I noticed it is trying to open this

Kubuntu-KDE4 CD comes with KDM from KDE3. Unless something has changed
recently, if it's Kubuntu themed, it's kdm from kde3.

I'm using Hardy fully dist-updated and the bug still persists: gnome-

I am not confused at all.
I actually am certain that raising privileges on the local machine should not
require networking bits at all. There is no real reason why that should be
done. No real dependency of the network, unlike the X system that is actually
meant and thought for

And, from what I mentioned near the top of the report, I don't know. I

Same problem, Hardy uptodate. Hald-addon-input: process gets 100% CPU
after resume from suspend to ram. I have bluetooth disabled and I am
working with wifi net, so I don't know if is related.
In this moment it is getting the CPU,

I am using a BCM4318 on a Gateway MX6027 notebook and have a similar
issue. When I play Diablo II I get periodic spikes! I've tried renicing
the b43 userspace process to 0 instead of it's greedy default -5, but I
don't know if it's working yet.

I uploaded swfdec-gnome 2.22.0 to my ppa as well, so we wont be left
with an outdated version if the other two packages get into hardy. It
compiles, installs, and launches fine for me -- however, I dont have any
swf files to test it with.
I based it on the 2.21.91 version found in debian
This bug is even more annoying with KDE4, because with dolphin-kde4 you
are not able to use Vladimir's workaround as there is no mount as user
option available with a right-click on the drive.

Good work Bryce, thanks for biting in this bug so much. (It really

I just installed the xserver-xorg-video-intel_2.1.1-0ubuntu9.2~bwh1_i386.deb on
gutsy and
now I am able to switch consoles again. So this last version does NOT have the
bug. The
question is, what have we disabled?
*poke* and the libvisual component for hardy?

i don't recall the dhcp3 component being fixed. the issue disappeared
around the time network manager was introduced to ubuntu. based on this
my theory is that network manager works around this issue.
but this doesn't mean the bug is nessesarily fixed. if my theory is
correct then one would just

Well.. for some weeks I am not having more crashes with xserver-xorg-
video-intel (version 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu5 from hardy uptodate Now). But I
think there is no crashes since I put this options in xorg.conf, section
