disabling and re-enabling "reduce backlight brightness" in the "On

Hi, I have the same problem as Marco Ferragina, but using a desktop
computer (not a laptop) with an ATI Radeon 9600 XT Mobility card.
Now using Hardy beta, after clean install it uses free radeon driver and
Compiz by default, all work ok.
But Hardy tries to install fglrx propietary driver when I

Mar 24 21:54:56 GMT 2008. Previous to that apport was telling me
something about not being able to submit a bug report because applicable

Tried to run Hardy Heron Beta on acer Aspire 3050-1922. It froze as it
happened with all previous alpha versions. I restarted the process and
selected acpi=off this time and the Live CD ran correctly. I installed
Hardy Heron, and now it won't start anymore. I can't find a way to

The story of that screenshot is that when I left my machine (and locked
the screen) on Friday, my desktop was empty. When I came in on Monday
and unlocked it, that's what was there. The mount point in question
would be /home/mpainter, which is mounted by automount whenever
something under /home/m
linda is not in Hardy anymore.

Hi,
I'd like to add, since the url I've posted above did not open with gnash, I've
tried to open it with totem, result was the message above.
YouTube videos run with gnash in the browser or can be downloaded and converted.
My "workaround" with the posted url for now, was downloading and playing it
