It's not clear to me that there is an Ubuntu bug here - clearly the
firewall on the server wasn't allowing through some of the packets
associated with the connection, but those packets constitute legitimate

/etc/etckeeper/unclean.d/50test:

What the output of the following for you?
cd /etc
sudo bzr status
It appears like this test displays something for you (an error?).

Wow, I'm amazed this works at all.
In general, Xrandr 1.2 and xserver 1.4 do not support multi-head using
two different video cards with separate screens. This requires TTM to
make it work which should (knock on wood) hit for Intrepid. We will be
upgrading all the Xorg components in Intrepid ove

This looks like the problem Garth fixed, where the waveform summaries
were being repainted from a non-GUI thread. Should be fixed in SVN and
beta3, when it's released later this week.

I guess the only definitive solution to this issue is to use the
wstephens branch for kppp
(http://websvn.kde.org/branches/work/~wstephens/kppp/) and create a
package for kubuntu. Volunteers?

here are some crash reports... 4 did not crash, and is provided as a
comparison... 2 & 3 are the crashes. (1 is not included, as it didnt
crash either, but still reported a segfault on shutdown for an unknown
reason)
