I was having a similar problem with an IDE CD burner, it wouldn't erase
a CD-RW from k3b or wodim on the command line. However, when I connected
up an external USB burner it worked fine. Don't know if this helps shed

(amd64) running vmplayer 2.0.3 build-80004. If I highlight any text

I am behind a proxy and apt /usr/lib/apt/methods/http does not use the correct
http headers when fetching the .tar.gz file. This seems to be a combination of

Have the same problem (ubuntu hardy 8.04). I think it first appeared
when i reconfigured xserver-xorg.
If you look at the attachment it showing, In System Preferences
Keyboard Layouts, it doesn't matter which language i have chosen(with
the radio button), it only matters which one that is one
confirming, i'm seeing this too.
