I don't know if the BT hardware is the same, but on my Latitude D630 I
just booted up Vista (I kept it in a small partition in case of such
emergencies!) and updated Dell's BT driver - it resets the firmware back

For comparison, I independently discovered 'setxkbmap -model evdev
-layout gb -option lv3:ralt_switch' upon encountering this bug, and it
worked fine for me.
I do hope somebody has made sure that the special cases (abnt2 and jp106
for Brazilian and Japanese keymaps) continue to work. :-)

wheelie.mov and that asked me for codecs, but started playing right

Is there some sort of default timeout, or failure to act on nautilus'
part to keep the connection active and renewed OR renew it when the user
tries to continue browsing? Surely either of these actions are preferred
to the 'ssh process died'

No, this crash was not caused by mount flags on /tmp. It was caused by
removing execute permission from the gksu binary in /usr/bin. (I
removed that permission bit, not some part of the Ubuntu system) The
