I installed f-spot_0.4.3.1-0ubuntu1~bunniesarecute1_i386.deb.
Here is the output of the terminal. I lanched f-spot and I tried to quit
with no success, it hangs as usual. Then I forced the exit.

I cannot confirm it. I use German OOo3.0RC3 on WinXP. I open your document and
it shows for the number 1 the date 31.12.1899 (which is 1899-12-31 in ISO). That
is correct, because the basis day is 30.12.1899 (ISO 1899-12-30) and 1 is one
day from the basis day.

I cannot print some of my PDFs.
It seems something going wrong in the pdf2ps converter, probably related to
ghostscript.
For example, when I try to print the attached file the first page is
printed OK. However, the second one gives an error:
