1. procps or /proc, which the kernel gets/puts information entries from

Sune Keller, in hardy's pm-utils the 99video script already does have
the patch you sent
(http://launchpadlibrarian.net/15877925/20video.patch). Therefore I
assume that htis is fixed in Hardy final. If you mean something else, or
the gutsy version, please give some more details. Thank you!

Can we expect that by the time of Intrepid release that there will be an
ffmpeg-free in main and an ffmpeg-nonfree, containing the missing
codecs, in multiverse?
Because otherwise this is going to make a lot of people unhappy with
Ubuntu, for no good reason.

I think Jeffrey put it well. If this package is installed by default,
then every user logging into any stock Ubuntu server will see the
advertisement. I think the fact that is it text makes it more

I would also add that the ro (read-only) option should also be
supported.
The modified exo-mount patch, adding suport for 'ro', is attached.
( I prefer ro mount for flash drives. It would be nice if thunar had a
