As you can see, this bug is more than a year old. I have since gotten a
Mac and only use Ubuntu on servers (where I don't use BpX anyways). In
addition, I can't even remember which box I got this on, so I'm afraid I

I can confirm the fix in hardy-proposed (at least it mostly fixes it).
Right after installing find / -gid 999 gives 112 locations. After installing
base-files from hardy-proposed (and rebooting) I am down to 4 locations:

follow a symlink into the other filesystem. In that case gvfs-ls does

I can confirm. Since I have a wacom tablet myself and the same lines in
my xorg.conf caused the memory leak and high CPU usage of gnome-
settings-daemon (20%) and Xorg (60%).

I have the exact same Problem. Connecting my external Monitor via VGA

I'm having this problem several times a day since upgrading to 8.10 (all
previous versions were OK).
I use focus-follows-mouse and two screens. Window manager is Ion 3.
I mainly run Firefox, Evolution, xterm and Vim. The mouse moves and the
keyword works fine (including changing focus), but
