Two computers running Ubuntu Intrepid are connected in a local network.
On each one I can execute xrandr in a terminal and get a proper
response.
However, when I open a terminal and ssh from either computer into the
other computer, and execute

most icons, but it affects the shiny switcher as well and cannot be
resolved because mouse-overing doesn't create an effect for that applet.

8.10 final pops up a dialog saying 'You'ver just installed a digital
audio player. Choose what application to launch. You can choose various
audio players and to just open the device using nautilus.
It is still recognized as digital audio player, but i think this new
dialog solves the original

I am not sure if the package is right, but I have this problem on my kubuntu
8.10 (both 386 and amd64).
I have added a NFS device icon on my plasma-desktop.When I click on it, the nfs
share directory cannot mounted.

I tried suspending the machine today, this time with my screensaver disabled.
The machine usually freezes showing the screensaver.
The machine tried to suspend, and then resumed spontaneously without entering
suspend.

When I use the new option create a usb startup disk on the System menu
it will not work with either a 8.04.1.iso or 8.04.1 disk. It looks like
it runs well, but then when I try to boot into the Ubuntu on the USB
drive I just get a BusyBox shell. This is very important to me
