Yes can confirm it on a hp nc8430. Laptop is getting way too hot, even

have seen several mentions of it around. When a PDF is loaded within
Firefox using Adobe's acroread, ld-linux.so.2 (Linux dynamic loader) is

would last for the first freeze to occur.
Now, with intrepid-updates, -proposed and -backports enabled I haven't had this
problem in weeks.

I only can see f.21 for dv7. Did someone tried to flash dv5? Probably bad idea

Can you also attach the output of 'sudo dmidecode' as well as your dmesg
output. It's likely a quirk for your system needs to be added to
sound/pci/hda/patch_realtek.c
