i installed weekend xorg updates, but they didn't help.
i'm testing the sytem with 2 displays at the moment.
in this setup, when Xorg load goes up, the second display goes black.
and at the end it logged me out, when i switched between text-mode console and
back to graphical mode.

I upgraded to kernel 2.6.27-11, and discovered that my Broadcom Wireless
card was not working, so I reverted back to the -10 kernel. When I
looked in aptitude, it showed linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-11-generic
as (UNAVAILABLE). When I looked in the Restricted
Its still FTBFSing due to a bug in the python-qt4 packaging. A patch has
been committed to python-modules in Debian and awaiting upload there.

The installation procedure works smoothly as documented

Could this error be related to this bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=478752, namely the last message, which lists CUPS
as the offender. I've recently uncommented the line listed in this
message and haven't seen any more errors, however it did take about 10
hours for it to
