I am using 9.04 Jaunty Jackrabbit.
During installation of ubuntu, I set the 'automatically login' option
for my one user account. It's still set in the login preferences, but I
am no longer automatically logged in. I get the usual gdm login screen
and type in username and
Python 2.4 is not a supported Python version in 9.04, so this is the
intended behavior. The package for the interpreter does still exist for
a limited number of packages that require it, but the overall Python
system supports 2.5 and uses 2.6 as the default.
