Confirming this issue. Deleting the var/cache doesn't help. Cripples the
IDE.
Seems to happen with Sun's jvm and not the default openJDK. (openJDK
barfs up the font sizes)
Installing from the netbeans website (6.5.1) resolves the issue.

The system doesn't recognise and auto-mount cdrom when cd was burned in Windows.
I confirm this behaviour. It's been happening to me on every burn I
perform, and the disks are always OK.

Just a suggestion to anyone who decides to fight this battle... It
turns out my USB bluetooth adapter doesn't survive suspend/resume.
After I resume, I need to restart my computer before I can get audio
over bluetooth. Unplugging and plugging the USB device doesn't help.
It's a Broadcom Corp.

I'm seeing this too. At first I thought it was an Xorg problem as I
turned on compiz at the same time as setting up thinkfinger.
Clearly it is just a matter of needing to actually enter the password to
decrypt the home directory.

I'm experiencing exactly the same bug since I upgraded from 8.04 to
9.04. It's quite annoying that I can't modify the system time, before
this bug was introduced I didn't realise how often I look at the clock
:-)
I'm using the 2.6.28-6-386 kernel. A newer kernel was not proposed by
the update

After pulling the CD-ROM out of the drive bay and sticking in my other
hard drive, I issued the following:

The system immediately picked up the change. For some reason, the scan
doesn't seem to be automatically triggered any longer.
