remember anything correctly about C programming, ekiga is directly
dumping output to the console instead of using stdout. You have to use

hdparm 9.15-1ubuntu1, linux 2.6.31-1.14, karmic alpha x86_64 on thinkpad
x61 tablet. On resume from suspend-to-ram, hdparm exits with a
segfault:
hdparm[10632]: segfault at a6 ip 004044d8 sp 7fff23936bd0
error 4 in
I have installed hdparm-dbg and will wait to observe this crash again.

I have noticed this happening to me a lot as well when I use drop-down
lists in a number of programs that I use regularly, namely:
* Epiphany
* Transmission
* Gwibber (unfortunately this just segfaults, leaving no useful output / error
messages)
I've also seen this happen in Nautilus too, but
