Problem solved here.
I did a "sudo polkit-gnome-authorization" and noticed some permissions
were changed (actually revoked) during system upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04.
This avoid frequency scale configuration as stated in bug #337780 and
also avoided USB auto mounts as stated in bug #368959.

It is working in the development release of Ubuntu which is enough for
me. If anybody thinks this needs to be backported to hardy, please
nominate this ticket for the appropriate release.

Cannot because nautilus just creates a thread and "exits normally".
All that is needed is to wait for an a device that goes into sleep mode

doe snot really work.
Also, I noticed that the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin.so was
not pointing to the correct icetea java plugin, but rather to the sun
java plugin.

Totem is unable to play any playlist file available in the smoothjazz

Steps to reproduce:
1) go to the site
2) click on some playlist and request playing with totem
3) totem gives an error that says "this looks like a text file"

I'm affected by this bug as well. I can access my camera as root but
not as a normal user. Ubuntu Alternate 9.04. I don't do Gnome or KDE.
ck-list-sessions gives no output, as a normal user or root.

I have been experiencing the same problem, in the attachment the image
on the left is from Firefox 3.5.1 and the image on the right is the same
file opened in The Eye of Gnome.
