I have the same issue as Yves. I have libfaac0 and libfaad0 installed.
I'm on Karmic. On Jaunty I could encode videos with ffmpeg that my phone
(which has Symbian S60 5th edition) could play. Those were .mp4 files,
probably with AAC audio.

me. I am not using proxy authentication but must use a proxy.
My usage: sudo-shell# http_proxy=11.22.33.44:80 do-release-upgrade
It does not seem to use the user's gnome-proxy-settings.

On my machine it takes about 40 seconds before Ooo can complete the
deletion of the row. So it looks as if Ooo hangs. If you undo the
operation (Ctrl-Z) and then retry to delete the row, it happens almost

each time we disconnect the cable, turn on the radio and go wireless, then turn

jamu.py crashed in Program._init_() from MythTV.py
The way I understand it the login window is controlled by the GDM
package. That is why I selected it. It has been now moved under the Xorg
package. Is this correct?

on another PC.

remove it in /boot/grub/menu.lst file ('quiet splash' option after

I confirm that this bug is fixed in Karmic
2.6.31-15-generic2.6.31-15-generic 64-bit , realtek rtl8187 is
performing up to expectations and the external smc adapter I had been
using as a circumvent is now not working at all ;-) So for a correction
there is a new bug (#479283).
