What I did was to wake the machine from hibernation. It then started to
initiate some sort of bug reporting automatically. There was an option
to do some additional reporting. That might have been to launchpad, it
wasn't all

Spanish Language Does Not Work in Karmic Koala
I had two entries: /dev/sdb and /dev/sdb1
By pressing the format button repeatedly on both entries it somehow managed
to finally format the partition and I could go ahead with the installation.
Unfortunately, due to random key presses I don't know what sequence actually

I am first user and admin. I can run sudo and can make changes to users'
access/rights via the command line. I am unable to access my second

able to workaround this issue moving this text below in the text file).

What you say, Sebastien, is correct. I think the only pratical approach (I
follow this for my reports) is to just start from Ubuntu. If an Ubuntu user
find a bug he will report it on launchpad and then, if necessary, on upstream
as well (or linking an existing bug from upstream to launchpad).

It seems pointless forwarding this report upstream as I have done some
research now and found this problem goes back at least as far as 2005.
Obviously it has very low priority and not enough people want it fixed.
I doubt anybody is seriously using the file/directory notes system as it
stands now.

I'm using a Sansa Fuze these days, but I added the above .fdi addition
to my current Ubuntu 9.10 set up. It seems that the Muvo shows up in
Banshee, but not Rythmbox.
