Not sure if it happens in original ibus, but there is a problem after

I have a Toshiba Satellite A665D-S6059 with the same problem using an
update from 10.04 to the final 10.10. Another curious fact is that when
it boots (with acpi=off) the machine will shutdown when requested, but
will not turn off without pressing the power button. The first restart

Opening the symbol.ttf in fontforge (lots of warnings) and decoding it
with ttx shows that the unicode mappings (cmap_format_4) are messed up
in this font.

No luck - still no sound
In alsamixer located SPDIF Optical raw (no IEC958 reference anywhere). By
default it was off.
Bounced mute back and forth several times. Each time tested with speaker-test

When I'm using the calculator on my touchscreen I maximize it. It
doesn't look pretty, but at least it's easy to press the buttons. I like
your idea of having a large button mode. Maybe it could be renamed to
touch mode though. All applications should start preparing for being
used with touch,
I can confirm this issue is still around, with 10.10.
With default driver it is fine, but NOT with nvidia driver.
After installing nvidia driver I tried almost everything I could but it didn't
help.
People with this issue should stick to nouveau for now until someone fixes this

I had a similar problem. I installed Maverick, keeping my home directory
from Lucid, and after a short time my sound indicator and me menu
disappeared. I tried reconfiguring the indicator-sound and indicator-me
packages, with no success. Then I happened upon this page, which
described how to get
To clarify, all I did was right click on the panel, add to panel, and
chose to add the indicator applet to the panel. After that my sound and
me menu indicators came back.

Hi,
As I have upgraded my ubuntu from 10.04 to 10.10, pitivi was upgraded from
0.13.4 to 0.13.5.
Now it's not going to crash, but still have another issue. I'll report it
separately.

clear the XMODIFIERS variable it works fine.
