@Michael Vogt:
The cron.daily/find script is still present in my system (Maverick now,
upgraded over the years), findutils version 4.4.2-1
$ ls /etc/cron.daily/find
/etc/cron.daily/find
$ dpkg -S /etc/cron.daily/find
findutils: /etc/cron.daily/find
$ dpkg -s findutils | grep ^Versi
Will this fix be in a future SRU for Maverick?

No, the format box in the "Advanced Partitioning" main window is not
checked. It was simply assigned to use the partition as ext2, and use it
as "/" .The installer formatted the partition anyhow, and without
warning, causing loss of data.

Yes, it is trivial to do a test hibernation if I'm in front of an Ubuntu
computer. And yes, it still happens. The question is, what should be the
best behavior here? A user should not do anything while the PC is
hibernating... should Plymouth appear?

I have a similar problem with the d-link boxee remote when I try to use
Boxee full screen. Whenever I press a button on the remote, X segfaults
and dies.
This is in Ubuntu 10.10 (32 bit). I get a backtrace very similar to the
one reported in the first post. Did anyone find a solution to this?
Same here. Dell Studio 1558-0005 with Mobility Radeon HD5470 and
Broadcom BCM43224 with latest drivers (Catalyst 10.11 for graphics, and
5.60.246.6 for WiFi, both from respective vendors' websites). It seems
to be something with power management - the computer always runs
perfectly fine on AC. On b
BTW : please tell me if I should report this upstream (if someone here
managed to reproduce it, I guess ?).

Hi !
Here's an issue I can easily reproduce + I attached a stack trace.
I have to :
1) open totem
2) open a couple of mp3s : in my case : the Machinarium soundtrack, in mp3s,
with a cover.jpg file that is displayed while playing
3) play some trac
