I first tried to grep within a x-term, but there I get faulty output regarding
gvfs. I suppose it's not needed.
So I booted into a maintainence root-shell (without network) and did:
lsof -n | grep deleted - nothing reported
apt-get install --reinstall libc6
and afterwards
lsof -n | grep
And here the output of
initctl list
after reinstall of libc6. It is amaizeing, that even though I selected
root shell without network in the maintainence system, a lot of
services including network is up and running (I used scp to copy the
output to my PC).

More info. Tried this again this morning and it happened on the first
run of the script, with the chill mat on and the temperature reasonable.
I don't think it is temperature related.

The cyrus-sasl package in Debian/Ubuntu uses '/etc/sasl' as the standard
directory in which to find the application configurations.
The fault here with the libvirt package is that it is putting the
example sasl configuration in /etc/sasl2 which is wrong for
Debian/Ubuntu.

When I first tried to hibernate, the machine hung. After some googling I
found #522998, i worked around that (unload xhcd_hcd). Now the machine
powers off and doesn't complain, but doesn't resume when turned back on

you wont believe what I have done, I worked at it all night until the

I changed the BIOS boot sequence for cd rom first, using the win7 disk I
have, restarted the system, and finally got ubuntu off my system. thank
GOD! that thing was driving me crazy, omg

The cleanest workaround for this bug that I've found is to run the
Maverick kernel that is now officially supported on Lucid. All you need
to do is :
sudo apt-get install linux-image-generic-lts-backport-maverick

So we call glXGetFBConfigAttrib (display, fbConfigs[j],
