I've rebuild the polycikitd-1 package with debug info and run valgrind's
memcheck on it. After approximately three minutes I've killed it.
Memcheck points out polkit_backend_local_authorization_store_lookup
method!
Strace tells it keeps on reading everything from
/var/lib/polkit-1/localauthority/
Actually I suspect this is (partly) fixed by commit 3b9d80fba[1]. It is
possible that the package is tagged for using LZMA compression, but it
should not cause an "internal error". If this not the case, please
provide the binary causing the internal error and I will have a look at
it.

open, is eating the Alt-Tab keypresses and not allowing them to be
processed.
My suspicion of what should happen is:
1. The normal Alt-Tab processing should immediately respond.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf is simply not present.
I moved the nvidia-current.ko aside, restarted. The X.org.0 shows that

@Martin: Indeed, xorg.conf is not necessary, i've just removed it and
Xorg started using the nvidia driver. The only difference i've noticed
is that the nvidia logo shows up for an instant when X starts, because
the option "NoLogo" defaults to false.

This is getting worse... when I launch gEdit, and try to save a file,
the default save location is also / instead of my home dir. Can anyone
confirm this, or something is wrong on my configuration? Does anyone
know what could cause this? $HOME is correctly set.
