Packages from ppa are holding back essential packages and prevents the
upgrade. Amongst these packages are Xorg from xorg-edgers and kubuntu.
banshee may also cause a problem.
Install ppa-purge and install the packages from the official archive
until you're able to upgrade.

I just had the same problem with gmail contacts in evolution on natty.
Not only evolution is freezing, mouse doesn't work anymore, hitting a
terminal and "pkill evolution" gets everything back to normal.

I'm talking to hosts running Hoary---yes, really) with the Intel NIC and
had no problems whatsoever. To everyone who is blaming NFS here, TRY
NETCAT. And DO NOT try scp or ssh because they're doing crypto which
will slow dow

me nuts. If we can get a discharge rate (Wh/time) isn't it just simple
arithmetic to get at least a half-decent fallback routine should the
current implementation fail/time out? I've had the stock battery
replaced via BestBuy,
I was tryng 11.04 alfa and beta 2months ago and month ago with Multisystem
multiple isos. Older versions are fine 11.04 ubuntu and Xubuntu gave black
screen. On cold shutdown for 1/5th second i saw screen before power went away.
Problem is monitor not showing anything. Its not even making Black
We can confirm this with Natty 11.04 amd64 final on /ext4. The
installation stops with failure to install Grub to /sda. The installer
textbox choices e.g. install to /sdb or cancel the installation had no
effect. After a reboot we performed a reinstall with Grub manually set
to /sdb without issues

get 1.1.0 into natty than hack a patch for 1.0.3. I see you merged 1.1.0
into 11.10 but marked as invalid for 11.04. Is it not possible to
upgrade it for natty as well? There are some security related bugs fixed

something weird happens like having absolutely no wireless.

Also with recent update of gdm (2.30.0-0ubuntu5.2) and linux kernel
(2.6.32.32.38) totem Movie Player didn't regain its video scaling
abilities.
Am I really the only one experiencing this?? How can that be? Any help?
