I built 10.10 with LVM on DMRAID because GRUB2 lets you boot from that
without any /boot filesystems.
I upgraded to 11.04 and *kaboom*
I installed the PPA with the newer version of DMRAID while in a chroot
booted off a usb stick with Gentoo amd64 stage1 made with unetbootin.

A bit of experimentation suggests that it's a whole lot more stable when
network manager is replaced with wicd. I've had it running for about 10
hours with wicd managing the wifi and it hasn't dropped out once. I

The following does the trick. The key is to purge postgresql-common.
apt-get remove --purge postgresql-8.4 postgresql-common
On subsequent install:
apt-get install postgresql-8.4
The last lines should be:
Configuring postgresql.conf to use port 5432...
update-alternatives: using /usr/share

please open the attached file and follow this procedure to see the bug:
1. open 'Bewertungsbogen Arbeitnehmer.docx'
2. save as 'Bewertungsbogen Arbeitnehmer.odt' (.. or as any other format)
3. close all open files
4. open 'Bewertungsbogen Ar
No activity on this for a while… but issue still exists. What a shame. I fixed
Xsession problem manualy adding the .desktop, and continuously hit the login
button of disable_user_list. I came across this just today another time on a
newly upgraded Lucid.

Relating to this bug, the error message appears cannot remove
915resolution.mod when trying to install grub.
I tried to manually remove it from the grub folder but was not allowed.

Why do I need to doubleclick anyway? It's the only place of the new
interface where I have to doubleclick. When I first used the workspace
switcher I had exactly the described problem.

I subsequently tried loading the 11.04 iso file to a new USB stick, It
failed also, but in a slightly different way, having successfully
partitioned, it failed on completing the file copying phase. I tried
burning a CD with the iso file. It failed also after partitioning giving
an error "The ext4 f
Based on looking at the diff, I don't think this issue is relevant to
the version in hardy-backports.

You can add application specific password to your google account. It
resolve the problem, but it will be great if empathy support this more
secure authentication scheme...

and vfs.* functions have. The latter seem to have moved to Gio. But I cannot

For some unknown reason the option driver didn't load automatically, and after
reversing the above changes it is still working correctly.
