A GPU lockup typically involves the system being locked up hard - mouse
pointer may move, but is totally unresponsive otherwise and you have to
power cycle the machine. Did that happen? I ask because sometimes there

On my motherboard, i can see 3600 MHz after turning off C'n'Q on my
motherboard. But I have only one pstate, 3600 MHz, after that. So I
guess we should see 5 pstates if TurboBoost is really on.

So, I started the system with the Oneiric 2011-08-28 snapshot again and
ran apport-bug. Included is the output of my first run of apport-bug --
