Upgrading the kernel doesn't load the nouveau
Ubuntu 11.10 with php-cgi (php5) and libapache2-mod-fcgid causes this,
however I only seem to have the problem on heavy loads - or at least
with rapid page loading. Is it after certain amount of page loads that
the cleanup process will have too much to clean up?

I have actually upgraded to Natty, but the Natty kernel would not boot
because it can not find the disks. So I am running Natty with the
Maverick 2.6.35 kernel as I am writing this.
I will try to build a new kernel using those instructions and see if it

I can confirm that the fix mentioned above helps.
It seems that the Xapian updater is running for a much shorter time due
to using '--update' instead of a full recreation of the index. However,
since I don't really understand Xapian, I can't be sure that this
doesn't create other problems.

When booting, the system hangs and not even REISUB-ing works, making a
force shutdown the only way to turn off the laptop.
The problem seems to be an address space collision:

This seems to effect every Distribution using the version 3 kernel.
Anything I've tried using the previous version 2.6.x kernel doesn't have
the problem.

The activities done while running PulseAudio log were:
1 open sound properties
2 select Hardware Tab
3 select the SB audigy card
4 select the profile Analog Surrond 5.1 Output
5 Test Speakers Front Left, Front Center, Front Right, Rear Left, Subwoofer,
Rear Right ~ all were mute
6 close sound
Ayan pointed out that this is filed against udisks since HAL is
deprecated. Ignore the previous comment.
