1) You mute Master
2) Pulseaudio picks the change up, thinks you want to mute and mutes itself, as
well as the other ones just to ensure you're really really muted everywhere.
3) You unmute Master
4) Pulseaudio does pick up that change, but at the same time,
I'm going to take a chance that the problem I found on 11.10 is related
to this bug. I am posting here although cups-pdf has generated many
other discussions elsewhere where various suggestions have been made

In my experience, one device used in an md array has been renumbered after
upgrading from oneiric to precise.
At the first reboot, I've got the message 'Continue boot y/N' but can't enter

I have the same problem with a Canon Digital Ixus V3 / Ubuntu 12.04. I
killed gvsfd-gphoto2 when it was using more than 2.5 GB of memory. There
are 100MB of jpg-pictures and 10 MB of mpg-movies (only a few seconds)
