I had this issue myself here in Ubuntu 12.04 with the SDL games. The
easiest fix I was able to come up with was to edit /etc/environment file
and add SDL_VIDEO_X11_DGAMOUSE=0 to the end of it then re-log. It
applied the change system-wide so all SDL games were fixed.

latest mainline kernel[0]? That will tell us if it is already fixed.

it didn't happen with stock precise versions? we should probably discard
the lo-menubar SRU if that's the one creating the issue since
libreoffice 3.5.4 has

I use glabels version 2.2.8-3 to print direct to the cd tray of my epson
stylus photo 585 this used to work ok in previous versions from 9.04 to 11.10
but fails in 12.04
The cups report show processing and the printer just stays idle
I tried changing drivers to the epson

Hi Robie
I have tried doing as you suggest, but the automatic upload of the
information appears not to be working. Possibly this is another symptom
of the same problem. I also tried implementing the upload from the
command line, but the upload failed there, too.
