I might be related, but as far a I remember I did not have problems with gimp.
I have the touchpad disabled permanently (do not remember how exactly) and only
use trackpoint.
Is everyone affected here using a laptop? Nicolas, Johannes, Tomasz and

I run the newest Raring. After installing latest updates, application
windows are often drawn in black. Moving the mouse and typing stuff
causes updates to affected parts and they are then drawn correctly. The
rest of the window remains black.
