no harm for the people who do not need it, while those with physically
rotated monitors find it extremely uncomfortable to trouble shoot kernel

Your libdrm_intel has not been patched to recognise these Haswell chips
and neither has mesa. In the ddx, sna does not depend upon libdrm_intel

If so, is there any chance of giving url-links (clickable) to the
confusing pages in documentation? Is it documentation or the
instructions within the app that are confusing?
The Usb start-up creator can be used on many different types of media
libdrm master, intel-gpu-tools master, and Mesa from either master or
the 9.1 branch now recognize these PCI IDs. I believe that's everything
other than libva.

I've just upgraded to Raring and noticed that the problem appears to be
even worse now. It happens whenever I try to close or minimise
Thunderbird. If I go to the ibus keyboard icon in the system tray and
click on it, the drop down menu is in a state of constant flickering.
I did some experiments
I really like ubuntu because it runs like a charm on my recently bought
Lenovo G580. Great work, folks! By the way: I am looking for work as a
programmer (C/C++/Python/wxGtk/wxPython) both participating in GNU
(free, i.e. without a salary) and commercial projects -- the latter just
to earn some
Wipe.
