Public bug reported:
Hi,
when trying to get EclipseFP running I encountered some strange compile
errors and decided to purge the ghc package and reinstall it afterwards
using
sudo apt-get purge g++-4.6 libbsd-dev libffi-dev libgmp-dev libstdc++6-4.6-dev
cabal-install ghc ghc-prof libstdc++-4.8-
The issue I had was resolved, however I can still recreate the problem. The
problem is 2 fold for me:
1) User error in setting invalid values to the /etc/network/interface
2) System error due to it locking up the machine completely and requiring a
reboot in order to resolve issue 1.
Side note:
Or let me know how i can set my hardrive up to accept my windows7 OS, that'd be
tight to...
2's better the 1 right? :p

in few seconds, while with Ubuntu 12.04 (and gedit v. 3.4.1) the operation is
terribly slow and impacts the whole system speed a
To apport's question "Is the issue purely graphical? (it will be
reported against Compiz" I answered "yes", so I don't understand why it
has been reported against Unity allthesame

Since the last reboot, from time to time, randomly, the screen gets
filled of short vertical black lines (segments), for a fraction of a
second or few seconds, then gets back to normal.
Now a few minutes have passed and apparently it has stopped doing it.
