My Nvidia card is always enabled in BIOS.
I was running Ubuntu from a flash drive, so it was as vanilla as Ubuntu
could possibly be. I assume Ubuntu does not come with proprietary
drivers.
I just tried installing bumblebee to the flash drive for testing, but

sssd is pretty much essential for enterprise setups and the only way to

To be clear, the qemu process is launched as my userid and
/proc/$$/environ shows QEMU_AUDIO_DRV=pa. The 'outout' file
in comment #41 shows the strace output which shows qemu

To build Unity and run the tests in an up-to-date Trusty build
environment you need to use the GTK fix branch (API changes in GTK
prevent Unity from building using trunk).

Ted Cabeen, thank you for your response. Would it be terribly
inconvenient to test if a 12.04.03 client works with your 12.04.03
server? This would help narrow down if the issue is client, or server.
