Kay, the update to sudo (1.8.10) actually solves this by using the
monotonic clock. All that needs to happen is for Ubuntu to udpate to it.

caused by the Intel Rapid Start technology in BIOS. It had a timer of 3
hours after laptop sleeps. I disabled that in BIOS and resume from

Keyboard shortcuts not working on Ubuntu
For me since recently (I don't know since when exactly because I do not
use this laptop a lot) a bunch of system shortcuts (System settings
Keyboard Shortcuts) stopped working on an Acer C720 (running Ubuntu
15.04).
Some shortcuts do now work for me. I have, for example SHIFT+F7 to

No way to get out of conference
From UX point of view having a speaker icon on top of launcher icon
