I am running these commands every time after reconnecting the mouse, or
Christopher, done. badblocks test completes without errors on Ubuntu
12.04 (3.5.0-48).
My short test example:
badblocks -wsv -e 1 -t 255 /dev/mmcblk0 1 4000
* read-only tests doesn't detect any issues;
* write-test pattern 0xff (-t 255) is much more efficient then first two
default patterns

CPU/MEM usage not accurate. Hits quotas while resources are available

This would be a very useful feature. I avoid using persistence due to
security concerns if the usb is lost and things line my Ubuntu One login
were on it. (which has happened to me.) The fix looks trivial to me and
I'm sure it would get a lot of usage if available and known.

If you try to copy a file.
root should be copied.
You do not have permission.
This was so elevated privileges.
This is still an issue, and letting it time out does not speak well for
someone who's only trying to install Ubuntu to repro an issue impacting
one of your users.

EC_KEY_generate_key() internally calls fips_pkey_signature_test() which
performs a pairwise check by ECDSA signing/verifying, but some groups
don't support ECDSA.
For example, `openssl ecparam -genkey -name Oakley-EC2N-4` fails.
Unfortunately `openssl ecparam` doesn't give
