Found out for me, that if GNOME uses scaling 200% the installer crashed
at loading of the images which say Welcome to Ubuntu, etc. Try using a
100% DISPLAY scaling and no issues during installing.

libglvnd but I don't know to which package it should be attributed.
Problem (at least for me) seems to be linked to

that fails (as I had uninstalled unity after update) and causes Xsession

pathnames can refer to different files. Essentially, the return value

Hi,
I just installed a Ryzen 7 machine with Lubuntu 18.04, no modifications
so far, just as it was installed with lubuntu alternative.
After booting, the system came up normally. I then tried to reboot into
recovery mode to check a problem (disk LED continuously blinking)
I've been tracking this bug for a few years now. For a bug of such HEAT
shouldn't it by now at least have an importance other than UNDECIDED?
And shouldn't the bug have enough information to be TRIAGED instead of
CONFIRMED. It just seems this bug is not moving forward and just going
to sit in it's

After upgrading to 18.04, I get the issues again and I can't select any
graphics drivers (empty screen in settings).
Can we change this to confirmed?
