Weird. I've had an XPS 9360 running ubuntu since November 2017. Last
week I picked up all the updates from August, rebooted and ran straight
into this bug with headphones that had previously been fine. I dual boot
into Windows and that is fine so it isn't a hardware problem.

as an upstream developer, it is nice to see that there is finally some

Same problem. XPS 15 9570, freshly installed Ubuntu 18.04.3. 70-99
degrees while using browser + IDE. Disabling turbo boost keeps it under
80 degrees, but that's not a solution. intel_pstate is enabled,
disabling it does not help.

It was worked around in totem, but ultimately was a bug in mutter, which
I also fixed.
It will still affect systems with older versions of mutter, or systems

I just found that s2i back to work after I removed multipass snap package.
BTW, the multipass version is multipass (beta) 0.8.0.
This issue looks not impact users who not installed multipass, so I'll
lower the priority.

The packaging of Flare in Debian (and in turn Ubuntu) has changed a bit
and split into flare-engine and flare-game. So while the old flare
package is stuck at 0.19 it is in fact pulling in flare-engine and -game
1.09.01-1. So it is not that far behind. :) Still, an upgrade to
Marking as fixed based on comment above, and the version in Eoan.
