Same issue
Interesting thing, i got that errors, but all work fine, except
libvirt/qemu/kvm, my VM didn't start.
I go to logs and see that errors about i915 and suggest to restart libvirtd
daemon, and when i stop admin socket ( meaning: sudo systemctl stop
libvirtd-admin.socket ) system hangs
I used to have intermittent hangs on shutdown with 16.04 , but with
20.04, the hangs always happen. Item #4 fixed my problem. I suggest #4
be added to the official tree unless someone can explain it is not a
good idea.

I have tried cables, drivers, upgrades --no matter what I do I cannot
get Ubuntu to recognize that my 32" UHD LG display supports 2560x1440. I
can work around it with `cvt` and `xrandr` but this is tedious and is

Accepted linux-firmware into groovy-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-
firmware/1.190.6 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
Please help us by testing this new package. See

Same issue, and seems (per Christian) that is fixed on 4.0.6 .
