This might not be ontopic for this bug, as I have dkms version
2.2.0.3-1ubuntu1 installed, but what exactly is the intent of the check?
I have kernel-ppa v.3.7.6-030706-generic, with headers installed, but
this check seems to stop me from using dkms with it. Same for, for
example, the xedgers-ppa
Maybe I misunderstand the meaning of the importance bit. I thought it
was importance to the functioning of this package, so that availability
of other package managers is irrelevant to its setting.
While changing the bug's importance doesn't change anyone's priorities

I also just encountered this same issue, using a dark KDE theme, where
the text colour is therefore light. Branches are particularly
troublesome, being white on a yellow background, tags are barely visible
on the bright green background.
KDE has several text colours/backgrounds in the themes for

I have not heavily tested colour use on 11.04 though. For that reason,
this could still be a manifestation of bug Bug #777670 (wrong colors on

manifesting in the same way, or so I thought.

#14 same for me, I'm really considering moving back to natty until this
is fixed (also due to some other problems). So what would effect does
that workaround have, and what are the side effects?

I just encountered compiz crashing in a way that is rather identical to
this issue, by pressing ALT0TAB to switch windows. I have unity
(3.8.2-0ubuntu1), so it seems that didn't fully fix the compiz crash.

Well, since I have now seen about 5-10 different instances of what seems
to be this bug over the last week, it seems on my system it is rather

is rather annoying - at the moment my wife also regularly uses the

I have the same bug, not sure how it happened, got a crash report when getting
back from tea, saw it after unlocking my screen.
I do have version 0.88-2.1 of libdbus-glib-1-2-dbg.
