This is such an annoying bug! Whenever I want to use my laptop, I open
my laptop's lid and after about a minute both screens mirror... forcing
me to go and change them back.

Took a while for the issue to reappear. The length of time that it
occurs is random. I've been able to watch an entire movie without
issue. Other times it won't last a song. Once it occurs, I have to
open the sound control, switch to stereo and back to 5.1. The issue is
program agnostic

I can reproduce the problem pretty much at will.

version about 3 days ago. The upgrade went textbook, if slowly and some

Thanks for getting it fixed for Natty. Please backport that fix to
10.04LTS and 10.10.
I know it says no more comments needed, but I'm not certain that is
totally accurate. With one hand having a small tremor, and the other
not, I guess I qualify under both usability and accessibility. So I add

tracking, fixing, testing, and finally deploying the associated
patch(es) is often a thankless and unglamorous set of tasks. Rest

There appears to be a bug with Xymon's Availability report. I started
doing straces and the I found

It is confusing where the fix is released. I installed a while back on
AIX using easy_install paramiko. I am seeing the randpool warning. If
I do another easy_install paramiko, will I get the fix or is the fix
only for Ubuntu?

Had an issue very similar to what is described above.
- mouse would either stop working or become trapped within a certain element
of a window.
- mouse would move around screen fine, but clicks would only effect wherever it
was trapped
- alt + tab would sometimes fix problem
- occurred in
Dec. 2010; bug is still present in Mint Linux Debian Edition.
A nice way to fix this would be to modify dhclient, adding a function to its
Data Expression parser called, something like, hostname that would simply
return the client's hostname. Or, solve this and the whole class of related
