I agree that a downgrade patch isn't ideal, but as you mentioned the

I can confirm the error and that the symlink described in the
description fixes the issue. The file is on my file system and has
proper permissions. I am not sure why it isn't being read properly and

differences. Brasero and nautilus both do not recognize blank DVDs,
burned DVDs or packaged data CDs. I am running a 2.6.32 kernel which

According to bugzilla this was fixed in version 1.8.1.2, feisty has
1.5.0.12, but gutsy has 2.0.0.6 as of this update. Since this has been
fixed upstream and in gutsy I am going to mark this as closed.

I have attached another backtrace from my system. I am running gutsy
with the latest version of evolution from the repositories. I am able to
run the program without a problem on my own login but the login for my
wife is the one having the segfault.

autohinter was enabled by default. What is with the delay in putting
