No, encryption haven’t been enabled. Just a plain vanilla vm with a
single disk (hw ver 13, paravirtual scsi controller, thin provisioned
disk residing on a Netapp flash SAN).

I performed another test: I installed Kubuntu 11.04 in a new partition.
Then I checked the sound. It is possible to hear the sound over the HDMI
interface at the speakers of the TV-set or to hear the sound over the
external speakers.
Then I upgraded to 11.10. The sound is to hear only over the

I installed this driver but it does not help.
I am working normally under 11.04 where sound is ok. I have installed
12.04 as well in a separate partition as in the VirtualBox under 11.04.

again after the deinstallation of hylafax and using the backup of the
