For me,. the workaround mentioned in #49 works fine for 15.04 but it does not work for 15.10 anymore. The console is shown fine, but the prompt is missing and entering th password blindly does not work. I am using the plain radeon driver from the kernel, no fglrx, nouveau or nvidia-drivers here.
