What is also worth pointing out is the fact that ssh problems seem only to
exist when sshing TO the affected machine wirelessly with any of the protocols
WPE/WAP. Sshing FROM the machine has no issues.
And yet again, only ssh (to)/rsync (through ssh), image capable web browsing
seem to suffer
I came to the conclusion that this issue is related to ath5k driver with
AR2413 wireless chip communicating with the Netgear WGR614 router via
WPA2 protocol. The wireless chip here does matter, since I have another

What seems to be helping here is adding the options single-request in the
/etc/resolv.conf
Wat is an enigma again, only chromium-browser, firefox, epiphany suffer from
it, not text browser, nor everything else that uses dns.

One way to get rid of the annoying error messages would be using the command
eog 2/dev/null instead of eog . What you can also do is to define as your
alias. I just put the following line in the alias section of the ~/.bashrc
file:
alias eog=eog 2/dev/null

If anyone is interested, I made an overall comparison between the our generic
and Mark's configs. Again in case if the constants are set identically equal,
they are not shown. The attached file demonstrates all the discrepancies, for
every CONFIG constant listed in both files. As before,
When comparing loaded modules, I found that with Mark's setup 2 misses two
modules, namely,
ati_agp
i2c_algo_bit
the AGP module not being present might be interesting.

linphone constantly ask for the password with
Ok, once again. The bug is in the wild. It freezes my laptop quite
regularly. What is more interesting, on the kernel 2.6.37* freezes
happen too, however, there is no unsupported jumbo .. stuff in the
logs. What I see is:

It has resurfaced again in 2.6.32.2[78] I cannot run these anymore and
to switch to unstable ones with other issues!

Running gnome under kdm produces this bug on Lucid. Thanks #18 fixed it
for me.

create it in the more straight forward fashion.
