I was running out of space while upgrading. Deleting some files helped to get
around this. After upgrading I ran apt-get clean, rebooted and ran upgrade
dist-upgrade. Everything is fine now.

At this point I ran out of space:
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/ghc_7.4.1-1ubuntu2_i386.deb
After deleting some files and closing the error box the upgrade process
made it up to the end and asked for reboot. I rebooted without any
problems and typed in sudo
Of course I ran sudo apt-get clean before sudo apt-get -f install.

I also find it very annoying, that mountall doesn't give helpfull
diagnoastic messages at all if a boot device is not available or a fstab
line is faulty. It not even droppes someone to a shell, not to mention,
that it doesn't give the hint to press CTRL+ALT+SysRq+K to get a
maintenance shell.
I got a similar issue with kontact/akonadi (No resource agents have been
found).

I ask this because I get in huge trouble on a hardy-lucid do-release-upgrade
-m desktop -d, I think now due to a move of the /usr/share/doc to a ntfs

I didn't see any problems with the system now. I guess the bootparam
vga=711 enter 5 enter or/and the few fast tries to switch to text
console tty1 was the culprit.

I thought, that the development on apport etc. are fixed also reportbug, or at

Ok, gxmms-0.3.0 was installed into the panel. After removing the applet
from the Panel xmms works.
It still crashes on self compiled xmms-wma v1.0.5 while playing
jazzradio.wma But that's an other story... even audacious or beep-media-

grip was quiet, there was no audio output.
Therefore I quit grip, and restarted it with
$ grip
This seems to be simmilar to [ 1379181 ] crash on cd insert with
autoplay selected and grip autostart

because I get it working again (quiet), without a cdrom in the device,
but still quiet, there is also no
Bug Buddy Inform Developers has no option for grip,
so
bugs can't be readily filed.
reportbug is insane, too. Sorry, but this is still very annoying to
people who are wiling to report bugs in ubuntu.

Sorry for being ot, but I read the article about the new
BugReportingTool BERT in the wiki, and I'm quite happy about the new(?)
activity to develop a similar tool as reportbug in the debian BTS for
malone:

...is quite not(?) understandable.
Why reinventing the wheel by develop a commandline interface (we need one)
without respecting the good aspects of reportbug? BTW, reportbug is very well
integrated in the debian BTS, and you don't need something else beside than a
working MUA.
