My ubuntu machine keeps asking me if I'd like to reboot my computer.
I do not.
However Some updates do warrant a reboot. In the case of my workstation
the system will get a reboot within 6 hours on most occasions anyway,
I'm guessing this

Rythmbox usually crashses during startup, but once in the ~10 times does
not.
I have a local and a sftp mounted through nautilus library of 28k songs
each. (its a copy), after ~13s it crashes.
Dmesg says:

Once every few boots (quit a lot actually) my vm's are very slow. even
the bios/grub part takes a few minutes.
The logfiles fills up with:

I just installed 9.10 with:

But im still getting the same issues.
While a program (eg firefox) is being started the mouse wraps around noe screen.
When a keyboard button is pressed while moving the mouse from one screen
I just stumbled on this bug.
Mplayer and totem both are bearably slow.
Avi files and mkv files are slow, didn't test anything else.
I tried mplayer and totem.
The hardware:
Xinerama setup on two nvidia cards, driver: 180.44-0ubuntu1
Restarting also as describeb by Bob Henz works, the terminal d
alt-tab to a window in the screen you can't reach, and press alt-f7 (move
window toggle) fixes this every time.
You don't even need to move the window, the mouse will be on the other screen,
and the issie will be solved.

Yes, im also using Xinerama, but i cannot use Twinview as i have 3 screens
attached to two different cards.
There's a bunch of xinerama problems since this new driver.

I can confirm this on a setup with 2 8800gt's.
The mouse wrapping issue just pops up sometimes while moving from card to card.

saved without any problems.
If i adjust the headers/footers to display nothing and print a page, they are
empty as they should.

The 7.10 server cdrom hangs on installing at the copying packages step.
Looking at dmesg gives me a drive is slow be patient error followed by a
giant list of read errors.
Remounting the cdrom aleviates the problem for a few packages, but the
