I have found the solution for me finally!
My conflict was with my home assistant installation when alsa and
pulseaudio were conflicting with hassio_audio container.

None of the proposed solutions have worked. Same problem with Dummy

I have this issue in Ubuntu 9.04. The problem is related to gnome
integration since I don't have performance problems in other environment
such as xfce4. I've disabled all evolution services and the gnome applet

I completely agree.
And not only that: the most common 3G modem out there, the Huawei e220, happens
to have several errors in Ubuntu 9.04.
First, it is not able to show coberture. Second, it does not work if the modem
is not connected when starting the system.

the kernel version you are using be posting the output of 'uname -a' .
If you mean 2.6.28 then in 2.6.28-11-generic (and previous versions
afaik) usbserial is compiled into the kernel and cannot be un- / loaded
with modprobe any
Not including usbserial as a module, just breaks several kind of 3G
modems to correctly works. I can say at least two of them that just
didn't work for me: Toshiba G450 (need to pass parameters), and Huawei
e220 (must me plugged before the system is started, if not, it switch
USBtty0 and USBtty1
It is opennebula-node that requires ruby dependency, you are right. The
other packages seem right.

OpenNebula uses ruby to gather information from the nodes. It reates a
ssh conection to the node, copies the scripts to /tmp and runs them. If
ruby 1.8 is not installed in that node it can not get information about
memory and CPU consumption.
