I haven't had this problem in Intrepid for a very long time. After
recent updates, this bug is back and worse than ever. Every other flash
video I view is a grey box, and I have to do "killall firefox" and then
restart Firefox and restore the session to start seeing flash again.

I can confirm that I have no problems on the 32-bit version.
With the 64-bit version, the bug is NOT fixed for me. I confirmed that I
have "xserver-xorg-input-evdev_2.0.99+git20080912-0ubuntu5_amd64

I'm really curious why the new xorg would be considered if it broke
joysticks. Not being able to use joysticks is a HUGE problem. For most
of us, the work arounds are fine. (They don't work for me though). Since
I'm sure we're all comfortable getting under Ubuntu's hood, we wouldn't
have a prob
This is still a problem here. Knetworkmanager and gnome's network
manager both start up when I log into KDE. I also have Gnome installed
too. I attached a screenshot of the taskbar, where you can see both
icons. Only knetworkmanger should start with KDE and only gnome's
network manager should start

This problem has started occurring again. This time though, one in about
five boots I get a message saying that Ubuntu has started in safe
graphics mode. If I click cancel on the safe graphics mode selection, X
starts up fine with the correct resolution and videocard driver.

I ran all of the updates, and I'm happy to say that neither of my two
game pads crash X anymore.
However, both of them (Logitech Dual Action & Thrustmaster Firestorm)
move the mouse cursor with either the D-Pad or the Analog stick.
The Logitech Dual Action has an analog stick and when you press

updated package. However, the problem remains where the analog stick
controls the mouse cursor.
The D-Pad does not control the mouse cursor with this joystick, however
the analog stick does. Even though the D-Pad doesn't cont

I forgot to mention, I'm using 64-bit here. With every version of Ubuntu
I've ever tried, I could install zsnes with force-architecture and it
would always run fine. Now in Intrepid, it will either segfault or have
a buffer error.

In KDE4 I usually delete the descriptions in order to force KDE to
alphabetize the application icons by application name, and in doing

This did happen again, however I've not had this problem happen after
the kernel update today. I rebooted six times and it was fine. I
recommend to close the bug for now, and if it happens again, I'll grab
the kdm.log file.

konsole no longer remembers its window size. For example, I launch

Changing the plugin does work, however I was using the opengl plugin and
that was the one that was having a blue hue. Is that going to be fixed?
I have a decent video card so I would think I should be able to use
opengl. It's working fine for me now, my only concern is others that use
Intrepid
I agree, Walmart still sells these laptops to this day and getting into
the holiday season, this is going to be huge.

The gstreamer-properties work around doesn't work, because I'm using
Kubuntu, not Ubuntu. I need a solution for Kubuntu/Dragon player as
