Some progress! It looks like the next lang-pack update should have good
translations. I got the translations as of 2008-1-25 and there are lots
of gcompris.po files and comparing the French .po to the one that is
shipped with gcompris it looks like everything worked. /me crosses his
fingers

I'm the Debian maintainer of plotdrop. The original patch wouldn't work
with the new upstream release, so I took the opportunity to get the
author to fix the issue in the 0.5.2 release. So the bug is indeed also

I and one other person were unable to reproduce this in Feisty or Gutsy.
We got 1.52 angstroms which is close to the 1.51 angstroms I got from a

I'm unable to reproduce this. The symbolic link and alternative works
ok, if a little ugly. I doubt this is Ubuntu-specific if it really is a

It is fairly unlikely that the Gyre fonts will make it into Gutsy. I
don't think they have made it into Debian yet ( http://lists.debian.org

Well, I believe that is the way the XDG spec says to do it. It would

Umm, libqalculate is a Universe package and as far as I know has never
been translated in Launchpad. We don't use the language packs in
Universe. This package is straight from Debian, we didn't modify
anything. All we did was rebuild it on an Ubuntu infrastructure. I guess
something must have gone
This has been fixed by the 4.2 upstream release that is now in Gutsy

Yeah, I have this in English ;-) The Ubuntu yelp frontpage is gone and
I can access any ubuntu docs. I suspect it could be due to the new yelp
upstream version we got recently.

Scott, you might also try to look in to whether f2py is even needed at
all. I seem to remember that upstream may have integrated it into numpy
but I'm not sure.

I'm setting this back to Confirmed. I changed the tuxpaint dependency
from a Suggests to a Depends so tuxpaint will always be available.
However, this should really just be a temporary solution until we can
get at the root of the problem. If people have experienced hangs or
crashes when starting
