I booted an amd64 CD for Feisty and tried to set my /home partition to
be on /dev/md0. Here's what happened:
$ sudo -i
# aptitude install mdadm
# mdadm -C /dev/md0 -l 0 -n 2 /dev/sda3 /dev/sdb3
# mkfs.reiser /dev/md0
Now run installer. You
dmraid is for FakeRAID. mdadm is for Linux-only software RAID and is a
completely different concept. So, it still appears that my initial bug
report is legitimate.

I purged libdvdcss2 and tried again with the DVD 'Miracle'. I could not
reproduce the issue. I anyone else can, please place your comments
